also today i tried out that 30 sec drawing @posemaniacs
whoa its actually really fast! hahah O_O;;; im still new to this soooo cut me some slack :D
but it was fun



this one was actually 60 sec but i dont think it made a difference =_= i think i just relaxed more and drew slower LOLOL
i also started my oscar wilde painting :D

Hahaha OMG The bottom sketch was actually really hard for me! It's not even quite to his likeness yet either! I really wanted to study his face for this portrait but...it's really difficult LOL I'm too used to drawing people with the features that I prefer...haha....He's not beautiful enough for me....lol.

People sometimes tell me that I'm really neat when it comes to drawing? But I actually really like rough sketches.

Blind

(tools: watercolor, gouache, white gel pen, black copic brush pen)

Supposed to illustrate a quote. I used this one from House of Leaves:

"I will become, have become, a creature unstirred by history, no longer moved by the present, just hungry, blind and at long last filled of mindless wrath."

The red parts are what I left out...accidentally. I JUST SAW IT RIGHT NOW SIGH. I CAN'T BELIEVE IT LOLLLL. I should have double-checked before turning it in. OH WELL. TT_TT....I think I was doing this around 1:30 AM-5:30 AM on the day it was due. I don't know why it took so long.... I think I was distracted a lot and I'm naturally slow....sigh.

Honestly I've never read this book so it's just purely from the quote....

Also, originally I didn't want to include the part of the quote before the word 'BLIND'... but my teacher told me it wouldn't make as much sense without it..... but I ended up hiding it anyway?! SIGH. Actually I think it's more readable in real life.... Well people seemed to be able to.... Critique was okay... I wish we did it before turning the work in....though....so I could actually make this somewhat better after listening to suggestions and stuff.

a ninja head

I drew it in my sketchbook so the lines bled kind of funny/weird because of the paper and my dying pen nib. I need a new nib soon!

Also, I hope that once I move, I will have more time to draw :)

Drawing on photoshop. Recorded from a livestream session so there are some things that pop up, sorry about that. Originally this video was 3 1/2 hours long so I made it way too fast in this video...so you cant really see whats going on so its pretty much useless. I just wanted to upload a new video :(

The music is from Angel Sanctuary's OST...the song is called "Sanctus".

we had our group critique today (whoa first time i ever had one o_o im a newb okay o_o) and I was late to class cause I was finishing this!!....i just sat at a place where i eat lunch for like three hours and I didnt even get to eat my lunch HAHAH so i had to bring it to class with me during the critique O_O munch munch munch. actually it was just a snack and not really a real lunch lollll

there are a couple of things i regret about this and i wish i could like do some stuff to make it better BUT I WAS SUCH IN A HURRY O_O sigh i really want to make the creatures show up more like what we talked about in the critique T3T

I also took WIP photos sooo here they are (going backwards hahha)
